Obituary

Annie Josephine Wilson, 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Creekside in Burlington, Washington. She was born on April 2, 1935, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, to Lindsey John and Hannah Josephine (Suiter) Knuth.

Annie was first married to Richard Wenrick, and together they made their home in Sedro-Woolley, where they raised four children. She later married Robert Wilson, and they had one child together while continuing to live in Sedro-Woolley. Annie remained in the same home she had purchased for 75 years a place filled with a lifetime of cherished memories.

She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, which allowed her to be deeply involved in her community and her children's lives. Annie served as a Boy Scout leader, volunteered in her church nursery, and was an enthusiastic yard-sale enthusiast. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family whether at gatherings, holidays, or simple moments together. Being surrounded by those she loved brought her the greatest joy.

Annie is survived by her son, Thomas (Lanell) Wenrick; daughters, Terri (David) Spelhaug, Susan (Robert) Blizard, and Christie (J.R.) Brink; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren;  brothers, Robert Knuth, Raymond Knuth, and William Knuth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilson; her son, Daniel Wenrick; her parents, Lindsey and Hannah Knuth; her brothers, Marvin Knuth and Lindsey Knuth; her sister, Grace Draper.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00, on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Union Cemetery in Sedro-Woolley, with Pastor Jim Cannon officiating.
