Aurelia Baxter, 83 years old of Sedro-Woolley, Washington went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2025.  She was born on May 14, 1941, in Sylva, North Carolina to Helen Lanning who later married Frank Medford.  Aurelia married Howard Baxter on December 19, 1958, in Clear Lake, WA.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and church family as well as going shopping at thrift stores, yard sales and watching her game shows and soap operas.  She was a member of Valley Baptist Church of Sedro-Woolley for many years.  She also enjoyed visiting Cowboy Church and loved Christian music.  She loved all her dogs and cats as well.

Aurelia is survived by her children, Ranae (Tom) Frisbee, Trina (Dave) Chamberlain and Clint (Julie) Baxter all of Sedro-Woolley; ten grandchildren, Kaley, Kim, Brent, Crystal (Dave), Maggie, Danni (Joshua), Tracy, Jeffrey, Nikki (Sal) and Jessi; 13 great-grandkids, Haedyn, Connor, Bradley, Skyler, Kinsley, Gracen, Emery, Adrielle, August, Jerick, Jacob, Cedar and Shyanne; one great-great grandson, Koda.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Frank Medford; husband, Howard Baxter; son, Darrin; brother, Forrest Medford.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the team at Hospice of the Northwest for the loving care and support provided.

A Celebration of Life will be held February 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Valley Baptist Church, 710 John Liner Road, Sedro-Woolley, WA with Pastor Harold Thornbrough officiating and there will be a potluck to follow.
