Carol Ann Elkins, 78 of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, peacefully at her home after a short battle of cancer.  Carol was born March 11, 1945, to Lester and Freda Gilman in Monroe, WA.  She was a beloved mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend to so many.  Carol retired from the Sedro-Woolley School District after 30 years of service, with most of her time in the transportation department.  Family was very important to her.  Being able to spend time camping, road trips, and vacations with her sisters and brother, kids and grandkids brought great joy to her.

Carol is survived by son, Jason (Lois) Armstrong of Sedro-Woolley; daughter, Kim (Mike) Lake of Sedro-Woolley; grandchildren, Madison, Hunter and MacKenzie Lake of Sedro-Woolley, Austin and Shianna Elkins of Bellingham; sister, Janet Roehrich of Sedro-Woolley; brother, Lester Gilman Jr. of Monroe; sister, Judy Bass of Sultan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Freda Gilman; daughter, Jennifer Elkins; niece, Tamara Andrews.

There will be a Celebration of Life that will be held from 1:00 to 4:00, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles Club.  Share your memories of Carol and sign the online guest register.
