Catherine "Jane" Cimoch, 83, of Clear Lake, Washington passed away peacefully at her home May 27, 2024.  Jane was born December 8, 1939, in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Jesse and Gertrude Close.  She had one twin sister, Carol "Jean" and two brothers, Terry and Jesse Jr.  Jane graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School and went to nursing school in Spokane, WA.  She met Charles Cimoch while going to school in Spokane and they were married on July 29, 1961.

Jane's main theme for life was to help others before self.  She showed this in her work life with a long career at Skagit Valley Convalescent Center and Country Meadow Village.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Carol Schmidt; three sons, James, Daniel & Robert Cimoch; brothers, Terry and Jess Close; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cimoch; sister, Carol "Jean" Vlcko; parents, Jesse and Gertrude Close.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Sedro-Woolley at 9:00 Wednesday, June 5, 2024, with a reception immediately following; a Graveside Committal will be held at 11:30 at Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley.
