Charles Richard "Dick" McClure, 93, passed away June 7, 2023 at Silverado Memory Care Community with his dog "Joe" by his side.

He taught 6th grade in Bellingham, Washington and was well respected by students, parents, and faculty.  He worked at the conservation site for many years.

Dick was a longtime board member at WECU and referred to it as "his baby".  He loved to travel and spent many summers seeing the world.  He was also a master gardener, and his yard was proof.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
