Claymon "Junior" A. Price passed peacefully December 28 2023, at 71 years old in his home in Anacortes, Washington after a battle of cancer.  Clay was born November 17, 1952, in Burlington, WA to Claymon and June (Mahala) Price.  He was treasured by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all.

Clay was a veteran of the U.S. Army; after being honorably discharged in 1980 as an E-4SP, he begun working at Summit Timber mill in Darrington, WA until 1988.  Clay started a new career at Shell refinery in Anacortes as an operator making lifelong friends and retiring in 2014.

He was always an early bird, loved gold panning, fishing, crabbing, hunting, camping, searching for treasures, watching the news and the Seahawks play.  He always had the late-night munchies with his sweet tooth cravings.  He

loved to spend me with his siblings, often they would play for hours card games like pinochle, poker, or cribbage.  He enjoyed vacations with his wife and family throughout the years.  He always cherished his time with Colleen even just relaxing while she rocked in her chair sipping on tea, and him his cup of joe playing on his tablet.  He was a proud grandparent and loved all his grandchildren dearly.

Clay is survived by his children, Brance (Ashley) Price of Anacortes, Keyan (Emily) Price of Sedro-Woolley; seven grandchildren, Braedyn, Camdyn, Kaedyn, baby Price, Archer, Rose and Opal; four siblings, Dennis, Bruce 'Wayne', Julie and Pearl; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Clay was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Colleen; brother, Blain D. Mahala; sisters, Stella and Della; parents, June and Claymon.

We, as family and friends, will feel a large hole in our hearts for a very long time and will miss him dearly.  We shall cherish the memories of him and hold on to the lifelong imprint he has left behind in our hearts.

A Time of Visitation will be available from 9:00 to 5:00, Friday, January 5 and 9:00 to 11:00 Saturday; a Graveside Service will be held at 1:00, Saturday at the Bow Cemetery, Pastor Jim Cannon presiding.  Share your memories of Clay and sign the online guest register.
