David LeRoy Snelson, age 64, passed away June 25, 2025 at his home in Hamilton, Washington.  David was born July 18, 1960 in Sedro-Woolley, WA to Frank and Celeste Snelson.

David grew up in Sedro-Woolley, attending SWHS.  After high school, David started a lifelong career in the woods, eventually owning and operating his own tree planting company.  David took a lot of pride being in the timber industry and really cared about the history of logging in the Skagit Valley.  David had a true passion for animals.  He deeply cared for all of them.  He really enjoyed feeding his racoons and cats daily.

David is survived by some very special friends and his furry animals that kept him company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Celeste Snelson.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held at 11:00, Friday, September 5, 2025 at Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley, Pastor Jim Cannon presiding.
