Obituary

Deborah "Deb" Kay Myers (Richmond) born January 1st, 1961, went home to be with Jesus on Friday January 2, 2026. The best Birthday gift she could've received.

Deborah spent many years working as a medical biller and coder and retired in 2013.  She was a hard worker, but that is not what defined her.  More than anything, she loved her Jesus.  She was known for always starting her day with coffee and Jesus.  She spent her time serving Him through Celebrate Recovery, helping those who struggle with addiction and with her Women Hand in Hand group, helping to encourage other women in their walk with God.  She had a heart for those who were hurting and especially had a heart for children and animals, often known as "Debbie Dolittle". More than anything, she wanted people to know Him and His love for them.  She was a devoted wife to her husband, Richard, and a loving Mother and Grandmother.  She was always talking about, thinking about, and praying for her Grandbabies and looking forward to the next time she would get to spend time with them.  She loved her kitties, her quilting projects, and being on her knees playing in the dirt in the garden.  Anyone who knew her would say she was a strong woman who didn't give up easily and believed that she could do anything she set her mind to.  She was so full of life with always a bounce in her step and loved to have fun!  She was dearly loved by so many, and she will be sorely missed.  Goodbye for now, Deb!

Deb is survived by her husband, Richard Myers; daughter, Andrea Marie Peterson; son in law, Chad Duncan Peterson; grandchildren, David, Zoey and Matthew; brother, Gerald "Butch" Hallenbeck; sister, Lilah Pearl Pearson, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bud Raymond Hallenbeck in November 2000; husband, Scott Edward Richmond in May 2013; mother, Geraldine Mae Hallenbeck in March 2014.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 17th 2026, at the Community Bible Church of Concrete, 45672 Limestone Street, Concrete, WA, with Pastor Rob Thomas presiding.  Final resting place will be at the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Cle Elum, WA.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or El Sauzal Orphanage Benito Jauarez 476 Villas de Siboney, 22766 Villa de Jauarez, B.C. Mexico
