Diana Lynn Glaze

Diana Lynn Glaze, 75, of Mount Vernon, WA, died Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Life Care Center in Mount Vernon from renal failure.

Diana was born July 15, 1951, in Billings, Montana, to Charles and Shirley Glaze. She had two brothers, Richard “Ricky” Glaze and Terry “Rocky” Glaze, and one sister, Charlene “Bunny” Glaze.

Diana graduated from high school in Winifred, Montana. Later, she took accounting courses at the University of Montana-Billings. She worked as a seamstress for a laundry in Lewistown, Montana, for many years. After moving to Billings, she worked in office and sales positions.

Diana was married and divorced. She had twin daughters, Natalie Jayne Glaze and Natasha Marie Glaze.

Family and friends remember Diana fondly for the beautiful quilts and quilted decor she made and shared. She took great joy in reading, but her greatest joy was in her daughters. She and Natalie shared a home for many years.

At the age of 58, Diana contracted a rare autoimmune disease that attacked her kidneys. She had been on dialysis three times a week for more than 18 years at the time of her death. Her now-retired kidney specialist described her as his longest-living dialysis patient.

In 2014, Diana and her daughters moved to Skagit County to be near relatives. They all initially lived in Sedro-Woolley, but Diana and Natalie later moved to Mount Vernon.

Diana is survived by her twin daughters, Natalie and Natasha Glaze; her brothers, Richard of Mount Vernon and Terry Glaze of Colorado; and her cousin, Sharon (Glaze) Howe of Sedro-Woolley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Shirley Glaze, and her sister, Charlene Glaze, who died in childhood.

A private family memorial will be held for Diana. Her remains were cremated under the direction of Lemley Funeral Home. Please share your memories of Diana with the family and sign the online guest register.
