Dirk William Spanski, 47, of Sedro-Woolley went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2023.  He was born on March 9, 1976 to Art and Judy Spanski of Sedro-Woolley. He graduated from SWHS class of 1994.

Dirk leaves behind his companion, Alice McKibbin of 23 years; loving daughter, Jadan Wright McKibbin, 22, of Mount Vernon; brother, Tyler A. Spanski (Cindy) of Sahuarita, Arizona; nephew, Gavin T. Spanski; many aunts, uncles and cousins he shared many holidays and summers with; a long-time childhood friend, Danny Hendrickson, of Sedro-Woolley;  (The three boys were inseparable, sharing many wonderful adventures with fond memories of their past.) longtime classmate, Luke Johnson, of Day Creek.

He is preceded in death by an infant sister; cousin, Dalton Olson.

He had a wonderful sense of humor, many friends that enjoyed his company, a big heart towards others in need.  He will be missed but never forgotten, our gentle giant.

A Celebration of  life will be held at 11:00, on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Burlington with Pastor Dan Jester officiating.  Following the service the family invite you for a time of fellowship and lunch in the church reception hall.  Share your memories of Dirk and sign the online guest register.
