Duane Alan Brinson, 63, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at his home in Maple Falls, Washington. He was born on January 27, 1962 in Mount Vernon, WA,  the son of Alan and Loreen (Dye) Brinson.

He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1980 and continued on to Washington State University where he studied what he loved, Forestry.

Duane worked for Elcon as an Equipment Operator. Proud to be a member of Local 302 Operating Engineers and IBEW Local 77 unions. Anytime he got to drive the big rigs, was the best days. You could find him fishing, hunting, or lounging in his favorite chair with a beer while watching the birds. Willy's jeeps were his weak spot. He could not resist taking muddy mountain drives and tinkering on his jeeps. He was a father to all and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Duane lives on through his parents, Alan and Loreen Brinson; wife, Teresa Brinson; sons, Donald (Greta) Brinson, William (Marcell) Brinson.  He was adored by his grandchildren, Wallis Brinson, Alister Brinson, Hannah-Mae Pippin, and Jacob McDaniel. Deeply missed by his co-conspirator brother, Dan (Kathy) Brinson; niece, Emilie ( Austin)  Einert and nephew, Jake (Tori) Brinson; cousins, Kim (Dan) Carroll and Mark (Angel) Dye.

Duane and his wife Teresa Brinson would have celebrated their 40th anniversary this year. Knowing each other since Junior High School, they adored and supported each other through it all.

A Celebration of Duane's life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00AM, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, with Pastor Jim Cannon officiating. Please wear comfy clothes for the service, like Duane would. Share your memories of Duane while signing the online guest register.
