Obituary

Harold Stewart Pittman, age 86, of Sedro-Woolley passed away June 5, 2021.  He was born November 29, 1934 to James Weaver and Ada (Laddie) Pittman in Nashville, North Carolina.

On August 20, 1954, he married his beautiful soul mate, Patsy Cabe and raised their family staying in the same home for 55 wonderful years before moving closer to town into their dream home.

Harold was the youngest of 11 siblings, he was never afraid of a hard days work as he had grown up on a large family farm.  He was always lending a hand to anyone that needed it, you never had to ask.  An amazing dad, father, grandpa and great grandpa, friend to all.  We are all so blessed.  He was a volunteer fireman for many years.  After various jobs, he began his career with the Sedro-Woolley Police Department where he developed lifelong friends that were considered family, retiring after 20 years.

Harold's entire life was devoted to his family.  Nothing brought a smile as quickly as when his grandkids walked into the room.  He loved camping, fishing, hunting, car shows, a good hike or anything outdoors.  We all agreed roasting hot dogs with family was his favorite.  Often found at his feet was a family pet, Gracie.

Harold is survived by his two daughters, Debbie (Patrick) Conner and Vicki (Scott) Christofferson; three grandchildren, Kelli (Daniel) Segars, Brianne (John) Noyes, Krista Christofferson (Steve Barclay); three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Mackenzie Noyes and Kennedy, Issac and Ana Barclay; longtime family friend and fellow officer, Paul Taylor and many nieces, nephews and family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy; parents, Weaver and Ada Pittman; two brothers, Grady and D. L., eight sisters, Lillian, Sadie, Maybell, Ruby, Virginia, Edith, Evelyn and Shirley.

Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital which he and mom always supported.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.  Masks are appreciated.  A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care of Lemley Chapel , Sedro-Woolley.  Share your memories of Harold and sign the online guest register. He asked so little but gave so very much.
