James 'Jim' Joseph Eason, age 94, passed away January 2, 2023, at 10:58PM  in Burlington, Washington.  He was born July 10, 1928, in Bellingham, WA to Vert and Elizabeth Eason.  He enlisted in the Army Air Corp. and was a WWII veteran.  Jim married Jerry at age 22 in San Bernardino, CA and they spent 69 years together before she passed in 2020.  They moved all over the West Coast and raised six children.  They spent 20 years in Hollister, CA and enjoyed dancing, singing and making many friends.  Jim was a skilled truck driver, who worked up until his 80's, spending time driving all over the west coast and even a few years on the Alaska Pipeline.  He was an avid golfer, belonged to many golf clubs and spent many years marshalling at the Pebble Beach Pro/Am.  He enjoyed shooting pool with his sons, playing pinnacle, spending time with his large extended family.

Jim is survived by five children, James (Teresa) Eason, Vert (Gloria) Eason, Wally (Michele) Eason, Patti (Rick) Whalen, Linda (Bob) Smith; his sisters, Verta Hudak and Lillian Rouleau; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great-great grandchildren; great niece, Alysha Lindvig; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings, Joy Bennett, Candy Lentz, Walter Eason; his son, Jerry Wayne (Jan) Eason; grandson, Vert Eason, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00am at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley, WA with a viewing starting at 9:00am.  Share your memories of Jim and sign the online guest register.
