Jason
Visten
Dec 12, 1972 — Dec 9, 2025
Jason Anthony Visten, age 52, a lifetime resident of Skagit County, passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and their cherished dogs. Jason was born on December 12, 1972, the son of Mick Visten and Caren Smith.
He took great pride in his work as a Service Writer at Blade Chevrolet, where he built not only a career but lasting friendships and a sense of family. Outside of work, he found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He loved riding his Harley anywhere; especially along the Cascade Loop, camping at Pearrygin and Alta Lake, spending time working on his property and the many "toys" he collected for it, and gathering around the fire pit at home, surrounded by friends.
Jason fought a courageous battle with cancer, meeting each challenge with remarkable strength, resilience, and determination. Even in the face of illness, his love for his family never wavered, and his presence left a lasting impact on those around him.
Known for his contagious smile and his willingness to offer anything to anyone, Jason had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. This generosity of spirit is one of the many things everyone who met him loved most about him.
Jason is survived by his devoted wife, Maggie Visten; his children, Tyler and Shealeigh Visten; stepchildren, Ashley and AJ Frasieur; two beloved grandchildren; sister, Micki Visten; parents, Mick Visten and Caren Smith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joan and Les Visten, and Amy Butler; his uncle, Cliff Butler.
Jason was a devoted husband, a proud father and Papa, and a loyal friend. In his final chapter, he found comfort in his faith and peace in the belief that he is now resting in God's care whole again, free, and riding without limits. His memory will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the family he leaves behind.
A Celebration of Jason's Life will be held at 1:00, on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the "Visten Compound" RSVP by May 31, 2026 to (425) 891-0805. Share your memories of Jason and sign the online guest register.
