John Sterling Geckler, 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington on June 5, 2024.  He was born on March 25, 1944, the son of Ardeth and Phyllis (Fouse) Geckler in Massillon, Ohio.

John is survived by his wife, Chris Geckler; daughters, Faith (Corey) Lanning, Valarie (Scott) Lizotte; grandchildren, Lindsey Ogdon, Britney Ogdon, Jonathan Ogdon, Stephen (Kaitlen) King, Hannah Ogdon, Jarrod Powell, Jr., Samantha (Manny) Lizotte-Gonzalez, Caleb Lanning, Liam Lanning; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Kenny (Judy) Geckler; stepdad, Doy (Denise) Cottrell.

A Celebration of  John's life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Lizotte's home.  The family ask you to bring your favorite dish and story to share in the celebration of John's life.
