Joy Louise Suryan, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her. Born on April 21, 1930, Joy lived a life full of kindness, laughter, and strength, touching the lives of many over her 94 years.

Joy was known for her love of baking and gardening, her unwavering support for her family and siblings, and her passion as an avid reader. She spent her days raising her children, nurturing her siblings, and cherishing her grandchildren. Her presence brought joy to everyone she met, and her memory will live on through her family.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Taylor; her sons, Emmett Staniford, Alan Staniford; her daughter, Tamara Clarke; her stepdaughter, Beverly Kilanowski; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Suryan; daughter, Joy Winona Kreuger; many brothers and sisters.

A small celebration of life will be held at a later date with her immediate family, in accordance with her wishes. Joy's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
