Laura Lee Finch, 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.

She was born on March 3, 1955, in Newcastle, Wyoming, to Wayne and Mildene Allen.

Laura grew up in Moses Lake, WA, and graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1973. In 1977, she welcomed her pride and joy her only child, Rocky Storm.

On March 13, 2004, Laura married Willard "Willy" Finch in La Conner, Washington. That same year, she was baptized at La Conner United Methodist Church, a deeply meaningful moment in her life.

In 2004, Laura embraced her favorite role, that of grandmother. Her first grandchild, Riley, quickly stole her heart, and she was later blessed with two more grandsons, Brody and Max. Laura often said that while she had once wished for more children, her grandchildren were an even greater blessing. She delighted in their weekend visits and treasured every moment spent with them.

Laura shared a close bond with her niece, Deanna, and cherished their many conversations and time together.

She had a natural green thumb and lovingly tended to her gardens and houseplants, often taking care of her son and daughter-in-law's plants, too. Laura also enjoyed reading, taking walks, and, most of all, spending quality time with her husband, Willy.

Laura is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Willard Finch of Sedro-Woolley, WA; her son, Rocky (Kristina) Storm; her beloved grandsons, Riley, Brody, and Max; and her dear nieces and nephew.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, sister, and her niece Jenny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura's honor to Hospice of the Northwest, 227 Freeway Dr Suite A, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.

Laura's love, laughter, and devotion to her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
