Obituary

Linda Christoferson passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Born in Everett, Washington, on September 1, 1950, Linda was the youngest of four daughters born to Elmer and Billie Christoferson. She and her sisters grew up in Everett, all graduating from Everett High School. The Christoferson family cherished their summers at the family's beach house at Mission Beach, where many fond memories were made.

Linda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington. She began her nursing career at the King County Jail, later dedicating most of her professional life to caring for others in nursing home settings.

In 2003, Linda married the love of her life, Alethea Timmons, in Vancouver, Canada. Linda was widowed in 2015, following Alethea's passing.

A loyal football fan and an enthusiastic supporter of the UW Women's Basketball Team, Linda enjoyed attending games and cheering them on. She also loved spending time with family and friends, especially over a good card game where she was known to be quite the skilled player.

Linda is survived by her sister, Carol Christoferson; her nieces and nephews, Steve Scown, Mike Scown, Nancy Courtney, Della Hayden, Paul Kummerle, Jimm Kummerle and Jo Kummerle; her brother-in-law, Bob Scown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Jeanne Scown and Mona Kummerle; brother-in-law, Bill Kummerle; niece, Cynthia Presteen; nephew, Dan Scown.

In accordance with her wishes, Linda's ashes will be laid to rest in the Salish Sea. No formal services will be held. Share your memories of Linda and please sign the guest register.
