Lucille R. Wood, 80, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 4, 2025. She was born October 4, 1944 in Ellensburg, Washington. She was the youngest of four girls to Edwin and Lydia Vergin. Lucille is a graduate of the class of 1962.

She worked in a cannery in Burlington till it closed. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo and being with friends and family.

Lucille is survived by her oldest sister, daughter Brenda Kroll; three grandchildren, Lynn (Jammeh), Dustin and Brian Nations; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sons; Dennis and David Wood; two sisters and numerous friends and family.

Lucille will be laid to rest at the Union Cemetery next to her two sons. In lieu of flowers the family ask you to make donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation or your choice of charity. Share your memories of Lucille and sign the online guest register.
