Mavis Jean Scott, of Acme, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.  She was born on May 6, 1940 in Nampa, Idaho to Russell and Wilma Greenough.

On October 13, 1956 she married her best friend, Gordon Scott. They were married fifty-five years until his passing in 2012. They spent most of their lives in Washington, but they went to Thorne Bay, Alaska for several years. Mavis enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, doing puzzles, playing cards, and feeding her loved ones, including the hummingbirds. She will be greatly missed.

Mavis is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Doug) of Maple Falls, Washington, Marcy of Pasco, Washington, Joanne of Acme, Washington; grandson, Ryan (Rachael) of Burlington, Washington; granddaughter, Hannah of Acme, Washington; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Justyn, and Allison; sister, Alice; brother, Russ; brother-in-law Ron (Pam).

Mavis was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents, Russell and Wilma; son, Earl; grandson, Justin; sister, Doris; brother, Wayne.
