Nana passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Joshua's House Adult Family Home, Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  She was born November 9, 1933 in Avon, WA to Ralph and Ollie (Suit) LaFleur.  She was raised in Rockport, WA and went to school there for six years, and then on to Concrete, WA school with the class of 1953.

She married Jim Moody in 1960.  Jim and Nancy enjoyed many travels with brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Arlis and Dorothy Lawler; many fishing and camping trips with good friends, Gary and Barb Medford.  One of Nana's joys were her grandchildren, Jeffery, Jason and Colette who would ride bikes to her house on Saturday mornings for her "special" hotcakes.  She loved birds, flowers, gardening and canning.  She was so proud to welcome Heidi and Alyssa to the family.  Her next greatest joy were her great grandchildren, Jeffery, Harper, Ava, Sophia, Chloe, Blake, Beau and Brady who always had to walk to her house to eat M&M's out of her dish.

Nana is survived by her children, LeRoy (Jen), Shirley and Terry (Jeff); grandchildren, Jeffery (Alyssa), Jason (Heidi), Colette (Ricky); eight great grandchildren; brother, Vernon (Joy) LaFleur and family; sister, Penny Mitchell and family; brother and sister-in-laws, Tom Moody, Danny (Donna) Moody, Ray Melton, John Gallagher; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, Ralph and Ollie LaFleur; parents-in-law, Bryce and Hattie Moody; many brother and sister-in-laws and close friends.

At her request, there will be no funeral, but will have a social gathering at a later date.
