Neil Ingersoll,77, passed away on July 4, 2024 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, WA. He was born on March 4, 1947, the son of Jesse and Elsie Ingersoll.

Neil graduated from Concrete High School in 1965 where he lettered in football. He started working in the logging industry right out of high school. He drove log truck for several companies over the years including LB&R, Cunninghams and Harnkess. Neil loved driving truck, the places he got to see and  the MANY friends he made over the years. He drove truck until the timber business started to swindle and age started catching up with him.

He lived his entire life on Challenger road in Birdsview. On March 4, 1981 Neil married Beverly. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2018.

When Neil retired you could always find him hanging out at Grandy Creek Grocery with the other old timers swapping stories. When Heidi and Vicki opened Birdsview Diner, Neil became a staple and a fixture in the diner. Here he spent many hours visiting with old friends, making new friends and helping out where he could.

Neil was a fixture at every family event and holiday, and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sister, Frances Parker; niece, Rachel Parker Graybill; nephew, Aaron Parker (Hildi); great nieces/nephews, Damon Graybill (Carley), Erika Parker, Nick Parker (Paige), Danielle Graybill, Ashley Parker, Tyler Graybill; newest addition his great great niece and nephew, Callahan and Quinn Parker.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Elsie Ingersoll; wife, Beverly Ingersoll; brother-in-law, Dan Parker.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Heidi Sines, Vicky Ashe, Andrea Dunn and April Williams who have helped feed and care for Neil over the past few years. You ladies are all family!
