Nicky Karl Torset, age 71, passed away January 12, 2026 in Oak Harbor Washington.  He was born September 16, 1954 in Sedro-Woolley, WA to John and Iris (Whitehead) Torset.  In 1967, the family moved to Mount Vernon, and he graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1973 with his twin brother, Micky.  After high school, he tried his hand at commercial fishing in Alaska, worked for Dynes Broadview Farms in Burlington and drove a long-haul truck.

Nicky is survived by his siblings, Lynn (Carol) Torset, Ila Hurd and Marc (Rose) Torset; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, John, Rosalie, Lynette, Kathy, Dorita and twin brother, Micky Carl Torset; former wife, Terry Thurston.

Nicky will be laid to rest with his twin brother at Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley.
