Norman "Norm" Harold Jenny, age 73, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, February 4, 2023.  Norm was born August 1, 1949, in Sitka, Alaska to Harold Milford and Alma Eloise Jenny.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served as an electrician for over 20 years.  Upon retirement, Norm moved to Sedro-Woolley with his wife, Zeny.

As a young man, Norm loved the outdoors and spending time relaxing and fishing on the river with his parents.  Later in life, Norm enjoyed traveling and sightseeing.  He always helped people as best as he could, which included random acts of kindness.  Norm had a very giving heart.

Besides his wife and children, Norm's closest friends were Dora, Jay, Rosie, and Angel, whom he loved dearly.  He also loved his most cherished cat, Chris, like a child.  Norm also loved his church family at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  He attended Mass with Zeny every Wednesday and Saturday.  Norm also attended Mass and rosary every weekday morning via the church's streaming service.

Norm is survived by his wife, Zenaida "Zeny"; children, Glima Blanchard, Lynn Shipley (Scott), Kimberly Pressley (Justin), Susan Cagulada (Mario), and Aquiles Ombria (Anabelle); 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marianne, Carolyn, Betty Jo, Dave, Walter, Alan, and Doug.

Norm was predeceased by his parents, Harold Milford Jenny and Alma Eloise Jenny and siblings, Victor, Susan, and Sandy.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Vic at 10:00am, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 719 Ferry Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA  98284.  Please share your memories of Norm and sign the online guest register.
