Obituary

Orville Lee "Butch" Gensburg, Jr., age 64, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2026.  He was born on August 14, 1961, in Yakima, Washington, to Orville and Marcia (Bryan) Gensburg.

Butch lived the majority of his life in Sedro-Woolley and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1979.  He was a talented chef and proudly worked at Multnomah Falls in Oregon for 24 years.  Later, he worked as a furniture installer with G Bros. for 18 years, retiring in 2020.

Butch was an avid bicyclist and loved spending time outdoors.  He enjoyed barbecuing, riding quads and hosting family get-togethers, especially Sunday family fun days.  A devoted Seattle Seahawks fan, he even had a custom Seahawks guitar made, a true reflection of his passion and personality.

Butch is survived by his mother, Marcia Gensburg; siblings, Jerry Gensburg, Bob Gensburg, and Robin Boome; many beloved nieces and nephews, Ricky, Gracen, Bently, Zoe Gensburg, Alex, Felix, Joe, Liliana, Rayana, Stevie, Fabiana, Donnie, Mikey, David Jr., and Alexis Gensburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ora and Eugene Bryan; his father, Orville Gensburg, Sr.; his brother, David Gensburg.
