Raymond Brian Fox, best known as 'Doollie,' passed away peacefully with family on September 3, 2024. Doollie was born on November 4, 1959 in Sedro-Woolley to Raymond 'Junior' Fox and Bobbie Jo Fox.

He was the middle child; he grew up with two older sisters and two younger brothers. He was the oldest of the boys, but he always looked out for all his siblings. Doollie worked in logging, construction and mill work.

Doollies greatest passion was his love for the outdoors, most people know him as a hunting and fishing legend. He always had a very long, very loud and very animated story to tell, his presence was never unknown. He could tell you anything you wanted to know about any wildlife, fish or plant, what it did and where it originated from. We never actually fact checked any of this information, but we sure loved to hear it and all the rest of his stories. His stories were always the best, you could feel the passion he had for everything he said. In Doollie's most recent years he lived in Valley on Waitts Lake with his best friend and brother, Johnny at their 'Paradise' spending their time together doing all the things they genuinely loved, fishing, hunting and 'gardening'. From their Waitts Lake 'Hideout,' they would terrorize the fish and game during the day and solve the world's problems watching the news at night.

Doollie's love for the outdoors was only rivaled by his love for his family and friends. He had such a special bond with all the kids, best known as 'doo doo' to them, he loved them with everything he had, and they loved him. Always thinking of them and bringing them special gifts and making sure they knew he loved them, and they sure loved him so much. Doollie was the life of every moment he walked into. He gave everyone he knew something to remember, everyone was his friend and to him all his friends were family. Doollies life was so special, he really was one of a kind. His voice, his smile, his hugs, he always gave the best hugs, and you could feel his love. Always saying 'Love you more' and waving that I love you hand signal. We are really going to miss that so much. Doollies heart and soul were the truest and we will miss him so much everyday forever.

Doollie is survived by brothers, John Fox, Willie Fox; sister, Peggy (Ron) Small, sons, Dillon Fox, Derrick Gillooly; nieces and nephews, Tara (Rey) Small, Ashley (Jared) Lindquist, Cody Small, Eric (Melody) Stringfield, Jason Stringfield, Kyle (Mellissa) Fox,  Kelli Fox, Baylee Jones, Syler Salinas, Brielle Lindquist, Savannah, Hunter Stringfield; brother-in-law, Mike Stringfield; best buddies, Marty Nickerson, Sara, Boo, Tim Beierle, Jack Evans, 'Radio Dick', John Bihon; best buddy and cousin, Danny Coward; countless friends and cousins that all meant so much to him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Jo Fox;  father, Raymond 'Junior' Fox; sister, Sande Stringfield; his love, Heather Lawless.
