Reba 'Reebs' Lynn Garcia, 60, of Sedro-Woolley, passed away July 21, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.  Reba was born January 4, 1962 to mother, Patti and father, Wayne West in Aurora, Colorado.  She had two brothers, Michael and Dwight, as well as a sister, Debra.  She was the last living member of her siblings.  Reba obtained her high school GED, and later went on to complete her Surgical Technician certification at Bellingham Technical College.  Reba worked various jobs for both the Skagit and United General Hospitals for over 35 years including the kitchens at Skagit Valley Hospital, the purchasing department, and later in the surgical wing at both hospitals, assisting surgeons with procedures.  Reba loved helping people.  She also loved traveling the country to warm destinations and dining out at the fine restaurants she would research in her travels.  She was also a masterful cook herself and enjoyed sharing her culinary talents by creating extraordinary meals for her family and friends.  Reba married Patrick VanNatta in 1989, with whom she had her only child.  She later went on to get remarried to Ricardo Garcia in 2006, to whom she was with until her passing.  Reba is survived by her son, Ian VanNatta; her husband, Ricardo Garcia; stepchildren, Aliscia and Micheal Garcia.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm this Sunday July 31, 2022 at the family home.
