Renee Lynn King, our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunty passed away at home February 4, 2024, after a long battle with colon cancer.  Renee was born to Ed and Debbie (Ruthford) King December 18, 1978, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  She graduated from Burlington Edison High School with the class of 1997.  Renee was employed by Chinook Enterprises.  She enjoyed working at Chinook and really felt like she was part of the team.  Renee went through a lot in her short 45 years, but her red headed Irish spirit got her through any challenge she faced.

Renee is survived by her parents, Ed and Debbie (Ruthford) King; grandpa, John 'Jack' Ruthford; sisters, Shannon (David) Wise and Sara (Jenkins) Dossen; nieces and nephews Mckayla Wise, Kamryn Wise, Parker Dossen, Logan Wise and Emery Dossen; aunts & uncles, Jackie (Dan) Berry,  John Ruthford, Jr., Patti (Curt) Burhenn and Kathy King; numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Marian King, and Geraldine Ruthford; uncle, Larry King.
