Richard 'Dick' Dean Davis passed away June 22, 2024 in Arlington, Washington.
Dick was born August 19, 1936 in Hamilton, WA to Clarice and Bernard Davis. He shared his childhood with sister, Donna, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1954. He excelled in academics, football, basketball, baseball and choir.
Dick earned a scholarship to Skagit Valley College and went on to finish his education at WWU graduating with a BA in business administration. During this time he married Jean Duvall. They began their journey in Marysville, WA where his career as a custom home builder started. He was loved and admired by friends and family. He found the best in all and gave the best to all. His hobbies included building street rods, playing guitar, singing, old music and records, upholstering and Hawaiian vacations on Kauai.
Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Jean; son, Dean (lori) Davis; daughter, Judy (Dave) Espedal; four grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Brady Davis, Lauren Espedal and Lisa Haus; seven great grandchildren; many nieces; one nephew; and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Dean and Lori Davis on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2-6pm. Share your memories of Dick and sign the online guest register.
