Robert Martin Gaddis

Apr 2, 1947 — Oct 14, 2026

Lyman

Robert “Bob” Martin Gaddis, 79, of Lyman, Washington, passed away at his home on

October 14, 2026.

Bob was born on April 2, 1947, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, to Martin and Sarah

(Swatfigure) Gaddis. He grew up in the Gaddis family home on Fourth Street in Sedro-

Woolley.

Bob worked as an electrician, was a respected small business owner, and was a proud

member of IBEW Local 191, where he taught in the electrical trade program. He married

his wife, Stephanie, and together they made their home in Sedro-Woolley before

moving to Lyman in 2001.

Bob enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and boating. He was also a private pilot who

enjoyed visiting air shows and flying his family to breakfast on the weekends. Bob loved

taking road trips to Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, as well as traveling throughout

Washington. In later years, he especially loved doing “Bob” things, including watching

Westerns, eating strawberry waffles at Perks in Concrete, and having fish and chips at

the Food Pavilion in Sedro-Woolley. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sharp

intellect, willingness to help others, and signature style: “Have flannel shirt, will travel.”

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Sarah Gaddis; brother, Earl

Gaddis; and sisters, Laura Lee Abela and Janice Wyman.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Tobi (Chris) Heath; son, Sam Gaddis;

granddaughter, Graci Heath; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Little

Guy.
