Samuel ‘Sam’
Parker
d. Apr 26, 2023
Samuel 'Sam' Adam Parker, 38, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2023. Sam was born on October 31, 1984, in Sedro-Woolley. He worked in the logging industry here in Washington and in Alaska.
Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dirt biking, along with building things. He spent as much time as possible in the woods. He loved to cook his fresh brook trout, venison, and the morels he gathered every spring. Sam was very social and liked to hang out with "my buddies" as he called them, many of whom were his friends since kindergarten and younger. Everyone appreciated his sense of humor as he was quite the prankster and always joking around. As a young man, Sam enjoyed drawing and taking apart and rebuilding and painting bicycles.
He is survived by his mom, Vivian (Jim) Summers of Bow; dad, Ernie Parker of Hamilton; grandma, Lisa G. Sage; sister, Lucia Parker of San Francisco; son, Hudson Lee Parker of Birdsview.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tucker Adam Parker; grandparents, Barbara and Gordon R. Dills Jr., and his grampa, Bud Parker.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00, Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Lemley Chapel and a Celebration of Life will follow at Eaglehaven Winery, Sedro-Woolley from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Feel free to bring a dish of your choice to share in a potluck. Share your memories of Sam and sign the online guest register.
