Obituary

Sheryl "Sherry" Lawson passed away peacefully in the late afternoon of April 26, 2025. Born on November 3, 1954, in Mobile, Alabama, she was the daughter of Allen and Mary Aldridge.

In her early years, Sherry served her country as an air traffic controller in the U.S. Navy, where she met her late husband, Richard Lawson. They married and built a life together filled with love and dedication.

After retiring from the Navy, Sherry and Richard purchased a 50-acre farm in Hamilton, Washington. There, Sherry embraced the role of caregiver, raising her granddaughters while Richard worked as a trucker. She tended to the farm daily, feeding animals, baling hay each summer, and watching her grandchildren grow. Her selflessness and kindness were evident in everything she did.

In July 2019, Sherry's life was further blessed with the birth of her first great-grandson, Colton. For the next five years, she cherished him deeply, loving him as her own son.

In early 2024, Sherry faced multiple health challenges. Despite her struggles, the love of her great-grandson and the support of her family kept her strong. She will be forever missed and appreciated for her unwavering love and generosity.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Rachel; granddaughters, Ashley and Jasmine; great-grandsons, Colton and Jaxson; and her siblings.

In accordance with Sherry's wishes, no formal service will be held. Family and friends are invited to share their memories and sign the online guest register.
