Shirley Lee Estes, age 86 of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022.  She was born on March 3, 1936 to Charles and Geneva Evitt in Sedro-Woolley.  She was married to Wayne Estes.

Shirley was a nurse and caregiver her entire career. Her favorite job was working at Northern State Hospital, and she retired from Job Corp.  Shirley was active member of her church in Day Creek, and she loved every member.

Shirley is survived by daughters Dena Thomason and Corrine Estes; grandchildren, Sarah and Charles Stafford and great granddaughter, Kira Moye; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Geneva Evitt; sister, Colleen Mast; husband, Wayne Estes.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Day Creek Chapel, 31438 South Skagit Hwy, Sedor-Woolley, WA. A potluck reception will follow the service.
