Dec 23, 1956 — Jan 31, 2025
Spencer Randy Geary Sr.
On the morning of January 31, 2025, longtime Sedro-Woolley resident Randy Geary went home to be with the Lord at the age of 68.
Randy was born to Hank and Jayne Geary in Mt. Vernon Washington on December 23, 1956. He was raised in Sedro-Woolley, attending school there until graduation in 1975. While in high school he was a member of the S.W.H.S. golf and wrestling teams. He represented Sedro-Woolley as a member of the Boy's State delegation in Ellensburg, Washington in 1974. During this time he met the love of his life Brenda Coward, they became High school sweethearts and they didn't know it yet but she was his future wife. They were married June 25, 1976.
Randy loved to give of himself to others; mostly he had a heart for children. He coached little league and Babe Ruth baseball for 15 years (1988–2003), coached both youth indoor and outdoor soccer (1989– 1993), he also spent nearly 40 years heavily involved in quarter midget racing, which is kids racing cars that look like midget racers only about one-quarter the size. This took him to several U.S. states and Canada making many memories as well as friends along the way. Randy was inducted into the Quarter Midgets of America Hall of Fame in 2018!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry (Hank) and Jayne Geary, Nephew Nigel Clark, and In-Laws Russell and Pauline (Pod) Coward.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Geary.
