Stan Brawley, 73, of Burlington, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  He was born September 11, 1947 to Zelma Jean Brawley, in Sedro-Woolley, WA.  The Brawley family originally came from Green Forrest, Arkansas before moving here to Lyman where Stan was born.  He was raised by his grandparents, Iva and Minta Brawley who imparted Stan's solid foundation of faith.  Loved and nurtured by Charlie and Joanne Brawley, Larry and Betty Brawley, and Jim and Aretta Price, his dearly loved family.

Stan loved his country.  He served in the US Army from 1966-1968.  Stan continued to serve God's purposes for America.  His passion was for God's ordained providential destiny.  Stan was a skilled craftsman for 45 years.  He was known for his integrity in this profession.  There was no job he could not master.  Stan was a selfless man, who always had an open hand to help anyone in need.

In 1964, Stan met the love of his life, Jolline Frizzell.  Five years later, they were married.  There wasn't a day that was without Stan and Jolline.  They went on to have three beautiful girls, Eryn Rachel, Megan Kirsten, and Jessica Michael.  They were his joy!  The three strong men that married Stan's girls are Fernando Aguilar, Aaron Curbow, and Cody Sedgwick.  Stan and Jolline were blessed with 10 grandchildren, oldest to youngest, Christian Aguilar, Jacob Rivas, Eli Aguilar, Cassidy Rivas, Naomi Sedgwick, Sawyer, Sadie and Hudson Sedgwick, Addie Curbow, Kiarra Sedgwick, and in June will be the arrival of Stan's first great grandbaby, Jocelyn Aguilar.

A Time of Visitation will be available at Lemley Chapel, 1008 Third Street, Sedro-Woolley, from 9:00 to 5:00, Thursday, and from 11:30 until service time at the Church on Friday.  A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00, Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Sonrise Christian Center Skagit, 10217 Collins Road, Sedro-Woolley.  A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 at Lyman Cemetery with Military Honors, Pastor Michael Stansberry presiding.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassion International in Stan's name.  Share your memories of Stan and sign the online guest register.
