Suzanne 'Susie' Carol Locke, age 80, of Burlington, Washington passed away at home March 16, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.  She was born February 5, 1946 in Mount Vernon, WA to Melford and Virginia (Sawyer) Scott.

Susie was married to Richard S. Locke on May18, 1961 and had three children together before divorcing in 1973.  She later had another son with Tim Knapp.

She worked at the Burlington Auction for a while before going to work for her sister in law, Darlene Scott for DJ Hauling and the Marysville Livestock auction, and later working at 7-11 and AM PM; Country Meadows and finally retiring from Burton Nursing Home.

She enjoyed playing pool, BINGO and camping.

Susie is survived by her four children, Rick (Linda) Locke of Anacortes, Ken Locke of Concrete, Peggy (Michael) Vail of Burlington, Jason (Lacey) Knapp of Bellingham; six grandchildren, Bryce of Maine, Kevin, Keith and Kurtis of Oregon, Roslyn Knapp of Montana, Shelby Johnson of Sedro-Woolley, WA; seven great grandchildren, a special bond with Brandi and Bailey Johnson; brother, Richard 'Dickie' Scott of Burlington; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill, Walter and David; sister, Mary; granddaughter, Kyrra.
