Obituary

Timothy Curtis Garon, lovingly known as "Pup," passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at the age of 61, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 26, 1964, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of Rex and Kathleen (Wagner) Garon.

As one of six siblings, he grew up surrounded by family, cousins, and constant activity. From fishing and gardening with his Pawpaw to wrecking cars and getting into trouble, Tim brought laughter and energy to everything he did.

Tim began his career as a scaffold builder in the Gulf Coast refineries, eventually making his way to the Pacific Northwest, where he met the love of his life, Laura. He continued his career in the refinery industry as an equipment operator, working for various contractors and forming lifelong friendships. Known for his strong work ethic, Tim loved to work and stayed busy right up to the very end.

When not on the job, Tim could be found working around the property, enjoying family time, and watching his children and grandchildren grow. He was a proud LSU Tigers fan, a NASCAR enthusiast, and always welcomed the chance to cast a fishing line when time allowed.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Garon; his children, Mariah (Nolan) Howe, Kristoffer (Krista) Garon, Andrew (Kelsey) Garon, Braxton (Maddy) Chandler, and Gabby Chandler; and his cherished grandchildren, Brent, Aubrey, Kielynn, Beau, Beulah, Hattie, and Loretta. He is also survived by his siblings, Duane (Vickie) Garon, Dale (Van) Garon, Richard (Sonya) Garon, and Peggy Garon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Kathleen Garon; his sister, Lori Garon; his grandparents; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tim had a deep love for faith, family, and friends. His joyful spirit, strong character, and unwavering love have left an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew him. His memory will live on forever.

Geaux Tigers!
