Obituary

Trakk Galvin Balough, 33, of Hamilton, Washington, passed away on July 13, 2025, following a logging accident.  Born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, on August 19, 1991, Trakk was proud of his roots and the timber-cutting legacy he helped to shape.  Known as one of the best timber cutters in the region, he was respected for his hard work, integrity, loyalty, and boundless humor.

Above all, Trakk was a devoted father to Wyatt Joseph, Rylee Lawrence and Charlotte Belle Balough whom he was very proud of.  He is survived by his children; his mother, Suzanne Sinz; his sisters, Racine Celeste Balough and Sahra Swaford; his partner and mother to his children, Cheyenne Cadman; his chosen grandparents, Darrell and Loretta Ammons; his brothers of the heart, Tyler Dellinger, Dane Johnson,  Jacob Vail, Thor Orr and many other friends who became his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Flip Lawrence Balough.

Trakk's passions were simple yet profound: he loved working hard, playing guitar, rock hounding, fishing, hunting, being in nature, and working on cars—particularly when it involved getting large vehicles stuck in the mud.  He will be deeply missed by many for his loving spirit, honesty, dedication and intense devotion to his children.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 1:00pm at Lemley Funeral Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.  All who loved Trakk are invited to attend and are encouraged to wear hickory shirts and logging attire.  A reception will follow at the Ammons' property.  Pictures for his children may be sent to [email protected] .
