Obituary

Trenton Ross Towne, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Kirkland, Washington. He was born on February 6, 1987, in Bremerton, Washington, to Tony and Terri Towne.

Trenton is survived by his wife, Carrie; his children, Trever and Molly; his stepdaughter, Eva; his sisters, Christina and Tamara; his brother, Timothy; his father, Tony; and his stepmother, Destinie.

Trenton was full of energy and life, always making people laugh and bringing joy wherever he went. He loved making goofy faces, talking in silly voices, and laughing often at his own jokes. Entertaining others came naturally to him, whether he was striking up conversations with strangers or becoming the center of attention in the grocery store. He could talk to anyone and often to himself and was especially beloved by little old ladies everywhere.

He had a deep love for the outdoors, with fishing being his favorite pastime. He also enjoyed panning for gold, collecting rocks, and wandering through the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Trenton loved to cook and create meals from scratch. He never followed recipes or measured ingredients, yet everything he made somehow turned out delicious, no dish ever quite the same, but always memorable.

Trenton took his work seriously and was known for his dedication and attention to detail. He ensured his inspections and reports were accurate and thoroughly researched, something he took great pride in and excelled at.

Above all else, Trenton loved his family, especially his children, Trever and Molly. He never stopped fighting to be part of their lives and longed to see them and be with them every day.

To honor his memory and be clear, Trenton's passing was not suicide. He struggled with addiction, particularly after a knee replacement complicated by a bacterial infection that left him in chronic pain. While awaiting a neck fusion surgery, he suffered an accidental overdose while attempting to manage that pain.

Trenton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, warmth, goofy antics, and genuine love for life will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Trenton's Life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from noon to 4:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4230 NE Lincoln Rd, Poulsbo, WA.
