Obituary

Tyler Nathan Tacker, 40, passed away in his home in Bellingham, Washington Thursday March 9, 2023.

Tyler was born in Mount Vernon, Washington to Brett and Sandy Tacker on August 26, 1982. He was Brett and Sandy's first-born son. Tyler was very active in sports growing up and was very athletic and outgoing. Throughout his childhood, he had many people who called him friend and was known for his loyalty and kindness. He especially loved baseball and would have flourished at the high school level if he had stayed in school. He was also known for his intelligent mind and exceeding everyone's expectations with his knowledge and love for learning history.

Tyler welcomed his first child Dylan Tyler Tacker in November of 2001 and his daughter Lillian Irene Gianna Tacker in July of 2006. He loved being a dad, his favorite thing was to spoil the kids and show them all the love he had to give. He once again became a father in February of 2015 to Guinn Marie Tacker. Guinn had a rough start to life but became stronger than ever and is flourishing at life and has grown into a spunky little girl that loves her dad so much.  Tylers true pride and joy in life was his kids, he would give them the world if he could. Tyler had just begun to reconnect with his children, he attended Lilly's cheer tournaments this past year, was there to Celebrate birthdays and holidays. Loved talking to his one and only son about his career and enjoyed every video chat with his daughter that lives in another state.

Tyler had so much to look forward to in life, he was recently engaged to his fiancé Shannon, and they had many future plans that included traveling the world and just be present in each other's life.  One of Tylers proud moments was proposing to Shannon last Summer in Leavenworth. He adored her and she adored and loved him just as much.

Tyler left behind 3 beautiful children who are going to be lost in this world without their father.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Brett and Sandy; stepparents, Dale and Lori; his children, Dylan, Lilly and Guinn; his fiancé, Shannon; siblings,  Justin, James, Patrice, Darien, Michelle, CJ and Jason.; nieces and nephews, Gage, Gabby, Troy, Asher, Penelope, Sophia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and numerous friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy and Arlene Tacker; grandfather, Arnold Woody (papa).

A graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 12:00pm with  a reception to follow at The Eagles in Sedro-Woolley for anyone who would like to share memories and celebrate Tyler with his family and friends.
