Valerie Jane LaChance, age 86, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident passed away January 23, 2026 in Burlington, WA.  She was born August 21, 1939 in Minnesota to John and Violette (Audette) Lizotte.

Valerie is survived by her children, Rick (Janet) LaChance, Kevin LaChance, Kimberly LaChance Benoit and Bernie (Susan) LaChance; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jolyne LaChance in 2019.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00, Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 719 Ferry Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA, Father Jim Dalton presiding.  Her final resting place will be with her daughter JoLyne at Green Hills Cemetery, Burlington.
