Vicki Deanna Swihart, age 66, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, left us unexpectedly Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She died at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle. Vicki was born August 15, 1954 and raised in beautiful Skagit Valley by her mother Alice (Anderson) and Roy Frizzell.

Vicki was loved by and leaves behind a large and loving family. She is survived by her four children who adored her. Her son, Roy Swihart and his wife Amy, her son Norman Swihart and Elli, her son, Jeremiah Swihart and his wife Syann, her daughter Alice Swihart and Patrick Vaughn. She was "Granny" to her numerous grandchildren and is survived by Taylor, Colby, Dwayne, Jamie, Klhoe, Sylvia, Roy Jr, Jeffrey, Candler, Eloise, Georgia, Joseph, Wyatt, Waylon and Emma. Her great-grandchildren are June, Emmett, Clay and Bailey. Also left behind are Vicki's siblings, Eddie Frizzell and his wife Karen (Goss), Chet Frizzell and Tony Vaughn, Lisa (Frizzell) Thoe and her husband Shane and all of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Jorden, her beloved grandmother, Sylvia Anderson and Guy Parker.

A true country girl at heart, Vicki was only after a simple life. She was at peace and smiling with her family around her. Vicki's heaven was a field with a horse in it, a lawn to mow, a bluegrass song on the radio.. Small and wiry, Vicki grew up tough, fearless, upriver to the end. Her horses, of which her favorite was Beauty, took her to the top of Mt. Josephine and all over from Punkin Center to Birdsview. A stunner of the 60's, in high school, her dad (who she adored) once said she "stopped traffic" in her hotpants and boots.  We teased her about it to the end. The way to her heart was a pan of fried "taters" and a cheesy pizza. Coffee with a "little" sugar and some Pepsi.

In the 1980's  Vicki reconnected with her high school sweetheart Bill, had her twins at 34 years old and came full-circle with their family. After adventures in Alaska and all over Skagit County eventually she moved back to Lyman and lived many years on the farm on Cockerham Island where she was in her element and maybe her happiest in her too-short life. Vicki had an especially close relationship with her sister, Lisa, they worked together for many years doing accounting and they were lucky enough to take trips to Eastern Washington. These trips of canoeing and nature were highlights in her last few years.

A constant theme throughout Vicki's life was the abiding love for her family. Her mother Alice who meant the world to her, her father Roy who was her hero and she would make sure you knew it, and the ever-present angel on her shoulder was our precious Grannie, Sylvia Anderson. If you spent time on any given day you would hear about them as well as her sons, Roy, Norman and 'Miah and her daughter/best-friend Alice, aka Sis. She was so proud of her children and they people they had become. She was not impressed by money or things, she was impressed by character. Vicki "showed up" for her family when needed, she was funny, she was smart, she was slow to anger and quick to forgive, she loved the Lord her God and became closer to Him every day of her life.

Vicki's funeral will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, followed by a Committal service at Lyman Cemetery, Lyman WA, she will be honored with her son Roy Swihart presiding.
