Virginia Lee Pitman, age 74, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away October 1, 2021, in Mount Vernon, WA.  She was born April 27, 1947 in Sedro-Woolley to Loel Eugene and D. Gertrude (Marlow) Bever.

Virginia worked at Skagit State Bank on Carter Rd. in Sedro-Woolley, WA from the day it opened to the day it closed. She truly loved working at the bank.  She enjoyed chatting and swapping stories with everyone and was very proud to be a trusted advisor to so many customers.

On the weekends, you'd find Virginia watching the action at Skagit Speedway and spending time with her "racing family".

She absolutely loved watching her grandkids growing up and was very proud of them and their accomplishments.

Virginia is survived by her son, Jason and his wife, Nickie Cole of Parker, CO; grandsons, Ryan and Owen; sister, Judy Bever of Burlington, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loel and Gertie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center, 703 Pacific Street, Sedro-Woolley.
