Obituary

Wesley William Hubbard, age 93, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington entered into his Savior's arms on October 12, 2023 in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Wesley was born February 18, 1930, in Seattle, WA to William and Jeanette Hubbard.  Wesley was the oldest of three sons and five daughters and was raised in Poulsbo, WA, graduating from North Kitsap High School.  He later went to trade school to become a machinist.

Wes married Ruth Reynolds on June 22, 1951.  Three months later, the Army sent him to Japan to serve in the Korean War for two years.  After his return, he settled in Seattle and worked for Ederer Crane Company.  He moved his family to Skagit County in 1971.  After several years of commuting, he took a job at WRP in Sedro-Woolley.

Wes is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; children, Lonny, Becky Philp; Loren, Kerry (Mary), Darryl and Beth (Bob) McRae; sisters, Naoma Blumer, Joyce Patterson and Janice Morgan; 30 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Devan; sister, Marlene Harris; infant sister, Delcene; brothers, Delbert and Leroy; grandsons, Zachary, Robert and Jesse.

ATTENTION: SERVICE LOCATION CHANGE: A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Sedro-Woolley Inspire Church, 805 Township Street, Sedro-Woolley, Pastor Jim Cannon presiding.  His final resting place is Union Cemetery, Sedro-Woolley.
