William Vernon Julian, Sr. was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend.  He passed away the morning of April 16, 2024 in Mount Vernon, Washington from cardiac arrhythmia.  He was 51 years old.  Will was born September 11, 1972 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Pamela Moore and William Pate.  He and his little sister, Nicole, were later adopted by Carl Julian in 1977.

He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1991 and married Teresa, the love of his life, in November 1992.  They were blessed with a son, William Julian Jr., in 1999, and then a daughter, Marie, in 2014.

Growing up, Will was much involved with Boy Scouts along with lifelong friends, Greg Buchanan and Ryan Butler.  One of the biggest moments was when he was awarded 'Order Of The Arrow'. Will was also actively involved in 4-H; at age 8, he started showing his pug.  Years later, that is where he would meet his wife, Teresa.  Will's life was rich with hobbies that spoke to his love for the great outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting.  Every year he looked forward to going to deer camp in Conconully, WA; as soon as he came home, he started planning for the next year.  He started taking William, his son, fishing when he was three years old, always being patient and encouraging.  He was so happy when William was old enough to join him at deer camp.  Will was never one to sit still despite all his health challenges.  He always had many ongoing projects.

Professionally, Will was a well-respected Diesel Field Technician.  He prided himself on his abilities to diagnose and repair equipment and to be the one who could get the machine working again.  He loved talking about his job and his experiences; his stories were always engaging and humorous.  He loved to laugh and make people laugh.  It hit him hard when he had to resign from H & E Equipment in 2021 due to heart issues.

Will is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Julian; their son, William Julian Jr; and daughter, Marie Julian; parents, Pamela and Carl Julian, and William V. Pate; sister, Nicole Tobin; brothers, Robert Julian and David Julian; numerous nieces and nephews.

Will was predeceased by his grandparents; Uncles, Mitch Julian, Ralph Pate, and George Pate.

A Celebration Of Life will be held May 26, 2024, 1pm to 4:30pm at the Burlington Community Hall, 1011 Greenleaf Avenue, Burlington, WA  98233.
