Doug grew up in Everett, Washington, and earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University before completing his Mortuary Science degree at Mount Hood Community College.
Doug and his wife, Eileen, moved to Sedro-Woolley and joined the Lemley team in 2009. They have two grown children. Over the years, Doug has become a familiar and trusted presence in the community through his involvement with Scouting America and the Knights of Columbus, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service.
Known for his compassionate guidance, calm presence, and genuine care for every family he serves, Doug has helped countless families navigate life’s most difficult moments with dignity and grace. Through those years of service, he has come to view funeral service not simply as a profession, but as a true ministry—one rooted in compassion, faith, and a heartfelt desire to care for others.

Rick is a lifelong Sedro-Woolley resident who began his career in funeral service in 1975, working alongside his grandfather, father, and uncle. He retired in 2020 after more than four decades of faithfully serving families throughout the community.
Rick helped shape the compassionate, community-centered tradition that has defined Lemley Funeral Home for generations. Families across the Skagit Valley came to know him for his kindness, integrity, and steadfast commitment to guiding them through life’s most difficult moments with dignity and care.
Beyond funeral service, Rick has long been an active leader in the Sedro-Woolley community. He has served as a city councilman and has been an active member of the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club, the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce, JJ’s Cruisers Car Club, and numerous other civic and community organizations. His lifelong dedication to serving others has left a lasting impact on both Lemley Funeral Home and the community he proudly calls home.

Jim Cannon
Jim was born and raised in Sedro-Woolley. Throughout his life, he has served as a pastor in communities across the United States and as a missionary in Africa. Over the years, he has also assisted families through Lemley Funeral Home, providing compassionate support and care during times of loss.
Since returning from Africa, Jim has served as pastor of Samish Island Memorial Chapel in Bow. His decades of pastoral and missionary experience have given him a unique ability to offer comfort, hope, and understanding to families from all walks of life. Known for his calm presence, servant’s heart, and unwavering faith, Jim provides encouragement and compassionate care to those navigating the loss of a loved one.
Jim and his wife, Terri, make their home in Sedro-Woolley. They are blessed with seven children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

His thoughtful approach helps each family feel supported, respected, and at ease throughout the funeral planning process.
Outside of work, John is an avid film enthusiast with a lifelong appreciation for cinema. He enjoys exploring both classic and contemporary films and values the storytelling, history, and artistry they represent.

Elizabeth is currently pursuing her Mortuary Science degree through Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She is passionate about serving families with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail during life’s most challenging moments. In addition to her work in funeral service, Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance. Her love of the arts extends to the stage, where you may find her performing in opera and musical theater productions. Outside of work and school, she enjoys songwriting, painting, and playing violin and viola. Her artistic background and compassionate nature help her bring warmth, creativity, and sensitivity to the families she serves.

He has owned and operated Westford Funeral Home in Bellingham since 2005, and purchased his second location, Lemley Funeral Home, in 2026.
Rob believes there is always a better way to serve families and is continually looking for thoughtful ways to improve every aspect of the funeral experience. He is a member of the Rotary Club, Elder Service Providers, the local Cub Scout Pack, and is active in his church.
Rob and his wife, Rianna, have three young children and a Labrador Retriever named Archie. As a family, they enjoy camping, hiking, snow skiing, water skiing, kayaking, boating, and road trips. One of Rob’s favorite sayings to his children is, “Always go out. That’s where the fun is.”
